Twenty-six Shooters of Craps Are Fined

Twenty-six African Americans charged with gaming paid $29.50 each in fines and costs to the Justice of the Peace, for shooting craps at Cawthon on September 1. An ensuing dispute led to gunfire with a shotgun and a pistol. one shooter was convicted of aggravated assault and the other fined for related weapons offenses. Arrests were made Tuesday by Sheriff Nunn's unit. fines paid Thursday.
