Demonstration Train of S P Sun Set Limited Draws Large Bryan Crowd

Several hundred people visited the Sun set Limited demonstration train in Bryan for an hour from 10 15 to 11 15. The train impressed visitors with European style compartments for long trips and full traveler comforts. Brazos County Baptist Missionary Association Meet Sunday

The Brazos County Baptist Missionary Association will hold its second session starting Thursday October 30 at 10 am at Saint's Rest church Steep Hollow. Rev R L Brown of A and M College Baptist church will preach the annual sermon and sessions run through Friday night with discussions on missions Christian education and benevolences. Sheriff and Constable Search Wheelock for Missing Woman

In answer to a summons, Mrs. L. E. Morehead Constable H. T. Wheeless and Bill Wilson drove to Wheelock to locate a mentally unbalanced woman missing since Tuesday night. She had slept in a creek bottom and was found in an isolated shack. She claimed men stole money and was taken to relatives for care.

Fire damaged a block leaving two structures standing in the city. Officials estimate the total loss ranges from thirty thousand to forty thousand dollars, with only two garages left intact.
