Workman Jumps On President Wilson Car In Pittsburgh
In Pittsburgh on October 20 a man posing as a tool worker jumped onto the running board of President Wilson's car during an automobile tour. He rode a block before arrest by detectives. The prisoner named Richard Collon a machinist said he opposed Wilson's European war policy. He carried a five inch blade knife and a bottle of liquid under his bag which police were examining.
