Oldest Valley Resident Eufemio Flores Dies at 102
Funeral services for Eufemio Flores 102 longtime Valley resident were held at Immaculate Conception Church. Born near Linares Nuevo Leon he recalled the war with the United States fighting under Benito Juarez against Maximilian and the Puebla battle. He later settled in the valley and for 20 years worked with Col. Sam Robinson on railroad projects as a watchman.

Baby Girl Dies at Hospital Here
Little Willie Fay Guinn eleven month old daughter of Mr and Mrs Dallas Guinn of Normangee died at a Bryan hospital Tuesday afternoon after a short illness. The body was taken to Normangee home by McCulloch Dansby funeral directors. Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon conducted by Rev J L Bounds. Interment was in Windsor Cemetery at Normangee. Beside the parents two brothers and two sisters are left to mourn. Bryan friends extend sympathy to the family.
