Negro Receives Three Year Sentence for Attempted Murder
Pink Ford, a black man, was sentenced to three years in the penitentiary yesterday by the district court on a charge of attempting to murder his wife. Howard Nash, another black man, was fined 25 dollars and costs for aggravated assault and 100 dollars and costs for toting a pistol.
