Charges Filed Against Texas Chiropractors

Ten charges of violating the Texas medical practice act were filed in Dallas on Tuesday against chiropractors T. H. Lindsley S. T. McMurrain A. Tj. Harris Clyde M. Keeler Frank L. Cullen Mrs. W. I. Kasters C. W. Billings W. E. Walkers C. O. Michall and K. E. Guy. The complaints were based on information from Jed C. Morrow and the cases will be heard at the current county court term.

Fire destroys Towler home and contents at Benchley

The A. T. Towler residence at Benchley eight miles northwest of Bryan burned after a lamp exploded in Mrs Towler s hands. The blaze, starting about 6 pm, left the structure and belongings a total loss valued at five to six thousand dollars with no insurance. Mrs Towler sustained burns on her hand and arm while visiting from Hearne en route to prepare the home for new tenants.

No Jurors Yet Selected in Martin Case

Only seven jurors were selected during the first two days of the trial in the Martin case as prosecutors and defense attorneys await a full panel.

In Dallas on Oct 7 the jury for W A Martin charged with the murder of Deputy Sheriff R B Parsons at Denton on August 6 began meeting again. Seven jurors were chosen in two days and the eighth and ninth were selected in the morning session as night court sessions start tonight under Judge Pippen.
