Golden Wedding Celebration At Steep Hollow Church

A double Golden Wedding service honored Rev. J. M. Bullock and wife and J. J. Vandiver and wife on November 20 1921 at Steep Hollow Baptist Church Brazos County Texas. Families neighbors and descendants joined a day of ceremonies music tribute prayers and a church dinner with post event gatherings at Bryan and local homes.

Delegations from five powers began the first executive conference on land armaments in Washington with France hoping negotiations will move toward a formal expression of progress before Premier Briand’s departure.

Landru Trial Proceeds Amid Bone Evidence

In Versailles on November 23 the jury probing Landru in ten murders and a boy viewed a tin box holding about a pound and a half of bones. Prosecutors say the bones are human remains of victims and some fragments required microscopes for analysis.

Methodist church elects officers for 1922 after full year’s bills paid

A November 22 meeting of the Board of Stewards reported all 1921 assessments and bills paid in full. For 1922 the board elected E. J. Jenkins as chairman C. R. Gardner as vice chairman C. E. Jenkins as secretary Wilson Bradley as treasurer and appointed committees for building grounds and music. New stewards named include H. H. Young J. H. Faensom Jno. M. Lawrence Jr. and M. M. Erskine.

A Texas A&M College Station report shows higher egg production in pedigreed birds. Pullets from pedigreed sires and dams yielded more than 200 eggs by November 1, with 33 percent in the best class. Feed is simple, including whole milo, bran mash, sour milk, water, oyster shells, and greens.
