The Bryan Little Theatre presented three plays Tuesday night two for public school in the Interscholastic League contest and one Little Theatre production. The effort has sparked public school interest in art and literature and will place public school representation at the State meet in Austin. Directed by Mrs Paul Stevens the theatre has fostered community culture and developed latent talent.

Patten turns over bonds to hospital gift amid Teapot Dome probe
Chicago grain merchant James Patten testified to the Senate Teapot Dome committee that he disposed of 25 000 in bonds from the Continental Trading Company. The bonds were handed to the Republican National committee in 1923 by Harry Sinclair. Patten said Fred Upham asked him to contribute 25 000 and sell bonds to aid the party’s deficit, with the proceeds donated to Jefferson Hospital as promised.

15 Year Old Boy Sentenced to Life for Mother’s Death
