Mrs. Court Visitation Ties Bryan and Fort Worth

Mrs. Fred M. Court returned Monday from Bryan where she visited her daughter Mrs. Arland Ward and Major Ward. En route from Fort Worth she stopped to see another daughter Mrs. J. H. Sellers for a week. In Fort Worth she attended the state executive board sessions of the Woman's Missionary Union of the Baptist church.

Thirteen Hundred Trees to Be Given Away by Cavitt

W R Cavitt offers over 1000 pecan and 300 black walnut trees free to residents who call or write. Seed buried in fall will sprout by March 1 to 10, and trees should be planted immediately. Each caller may receive 10 to 25 trees, limited to 80 per person to ensure broad distribution.

Rev Father Barra Arrives to Lead Bryan Italian Parish

Rev Father Thomas Barra arrives in Bryan on Friday noon from Philadelphia to take temporary pastorate of the Italian community. He succeeds Rev Father Brain while Father Bravi travels east to conduct missions in Brooklyn Altoona Philadelphia and New York City. Citizenship program at Bryan Woman's Club March 5

The Bryan Woman's Club invites the public to its open meeting at the Carnegie Library on March 5 at 3 PM focusing on citizenship with Miss M Helen Higgin of A and M College as speaker. Prof Ford Quite Ill

Mrs. E W Graham of Rock Prairie rushed to Robstown after a telephone message reported Prof A B Ford gravely ill. Ford, once Bryan High School principal, has been ill for about two weeks and physicians consider his condition dangerous. his Bryan friends mourn the news.

Health nurse monthly report for Brazos County

The Brazos County Health Committee met at the county nurse office to review Elizabeth Curtis's February report. Key figures include 164 pupils visited and 114 with defects, 3 schools served hot lunches, and 5 class talks. Defect details show 24 underweight, 61 enlarged tonsils, 54 defective teeth, 12 suspected adenoids, with 20 defects corrected in homes and 10 pre natal follow ups.
