Means and Jarnecke Given Two Years in Pen

Gaston Means former Department of Justice agent and Elmer Jarnecke his secretary were convicted of conspiracy to violate the National Prohibition Law and sentenced to two years in the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary. Means was fined 10000 dollars and Jarnecke 5000 dollars.

Bryan relatives and friends report Mr and Mrs Ralph Dunn and Billy are on a motor trip vacation in West Texas. The Dinns say they are comfortably domiciled at Shady Nook Inn in the Davis Mountains enjoying cool breezes and invigorating climate. He is in better health and they traveled via Lampasas Fort Stockton Llano and other tourist camps en route.

Party Off To West Texas For Month's Camping Trip

At 5 o clock this morning Mr and Mrs 8 G Bailey and daughter Christobel of College with Mr and Mrs R K Chatham and son Roland and J K Walker supervising engineer for the A and M Branch Colleges left for a month long camping trip in West Texas. They will stop in San Antonio Kerrville and Junction to camp on the Llano river one mile below its confluence of the North and South forks. They anticipate ideal camping with oak shade clear springs swimming and fishing.

Trant party returns from overland trip to Mobile

The Trant party completed a near 2000 mile motor journey to Mobile Alabama then returned to Bryan arriving Thursday night. Cazell and Crenshaw Cars Collide at City Corner

Eyewitnesses describe an automobile collision at the corner of 25th street and Washington Monday night. Edwin Crenshaw rode home with a Lawrence Chevrolet worker to pull the car from the rain, with no injuries. Crenshaw’s Chevrolet sustained about $150 in damage, and the Cazell car about half as much.
