Austin Texas Feb 3 An apportionment of the February state school fund was announced by Prof W F Doughty state superintendent of public instruction. Plan Huge Planes For U S Navy

Gigantic seaplanes with a 70 foot wing span and 400 horsepower motors will equip the Sixth and Seventh squadrons at the canal zone and Honolulu. Each squadron will have 16 planes, 18 officers and 168 technicians. Planes fly 75 mph and carry fuel for 400 miles.

Death of Mr. Frank Doverstine at 72

Mr. Frank Doverstine aged 72 died at the home of Mr and Mrs Sam Luther in the Leonard School community. He was a faithful member of the German Lutheran church of Kurten and father of Mrs Luther. Funeral services will be held in Kurten cemetery tomorrow at 10 o'clock in the morning.
