Sherman Fights Mosquitoes in Malaria Campaign
Sherman Texas January 31 The city government with the sanitary committee of the Sherman Chamber of Commerce launches a campaign to rid Sherman of malaria bearing mosquitoes. The U S Bureau of Public Health joins with J A LePrince and Dr T H D Griffiths surveying the city locating breeding grounds and planning eradication steps. Sherman aims to be a mosquitoless town and health experts predict malaria would be stamped out locally.
