Mrs. R. J. Weddington, a pioneer resident of Bryan, died at 7 30 Wednesday morning at her College avenue home after heart disease. She rose, lit the fire, told her daughter Miss Wee Weddington she felt tired, then rested and passed away before breakfast. Aged 85, she was the widow of R L Weddington and a daughter of Col. Harvey Mitchell, the Father of Brazos County.
