Barbecue Display By Bryan Sokols Attracts Crowd
About 50 participants joined a Bryan Catholic Sokols athletic exhibition at a Monday barbecue. Young men and women performed calisthenics, followed by group routines by junior boys and girls. Competitions on bars and horse preceded pole vaulting, which was to feature a Hostyn team that could not attend due to poor roads. Father Urbanovsky listed 10 young men, 8 young women, 12 girls, and 18 boys among the participants.

Bryan City Budget Adopted With No Objection
The Bryan city commission approved the present fiscal year budget in a unanimous vote. The 1932 plan totals 158 719.69, down from 216 651.15 last year due to reduced revenues from a $1 060 000 tax rendition drop. Petitions on electric and telephone rates, wholesale pedler licenses, and street issues were referred for investigation by the city manager and city attorney. The commission also agreed to pursue delinquent tax collection before the district court term in September.

Breeder-Feeder Program Profitable for McCulloch Farmers
In Brady on August 16 a breeder feeder program benefited 43 farmers and ranchmen in McCulloch county by finishing 2800 cattle and 24000 lambs.
