Boy Fatally Hurt in Landslide on Bank Little River
Cameron August 6 John Harlicn 12 was crushed by a landslide while his three brothers dug him from rocks and he was moved to a sanatorium. The bank caved in as the boys undressed for a swim. John was the only one in the slide path.

Mathis Reunion Celebrates 86th Birthday in Reliance
J E Mathis known as Uncle Jim in Brazos county marked his 86th birthday with a Sunday dinner at his Reliance home. About 130 guests attended including 25 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
