Can We Afford to Pass This County Bond Issue
Bryan and Brazos county residents voted to form a permanent committee to campaign for a 1.25 million dollar road bond issue to improve all county roads. The plan allocates 600000 to the State Highway Commission for concrete paving and bridges, 150000 for lateral roads, and uses 270000 and 169000 in retirements. The proposal envisions expanded road and bridge work with tax changes and county wide benefits.
