Golden wedding anniversary celebration for Mr and Mrs William Hudspeth held April 12 1992 at their home in Tabor Brazes County. Forty relatives and friends attended with a noon dinner and a dance with cake and lemonade at 11 pm turning into a full day of good wishes. The couple has resided in Brazes County since 1922 with family members from Woodall Conrad Hudspeth and Hudspeth families joining in the jubilee.

Family Homeless After Fire Destroys Home Near Bryan
Fire destroyed the home of George Echols three and a half miles north of Bryan on Wednesday night. Echols was away visiting a niece in Sherwood when the blaze started around 2 am. George Robinson and his wife occupied the house. Echols retained one room. The family barely escaped with only night clothes. Robinson is a World War I veteran and planned to farm this year. The Red Cross is aiding the family and seeks clothing and household items valued at 91 or 343 to help start anew. The father, mother and four children ages 10, 6, 4, and a 3 week old infant need clothing.

Injured Madison County Boy Dies From Auto Crash
Fifteen year old twins? No. Wait. This item reports 17 year old H Hortter of Plainview Madison county died at Bryan hospital after a Friday trailer accident during a picnic ride. He and his school friends were riding in a trailer hitched to another car when the coupling gave way. Hortter was taken to Bryan hospital Friday night and died Saturday morning. Funeral at their home near Normangee with Rev C B Thompson and Rev J L Bounds officiating. He is survived by his parents Mr and Mrs B F Hortter and two sisters Nellie and Aline.
