An estimated $3,000 loss occurred last night when a fire started around 11 in the Sam Lereo building on North Main Street. Cause attributed to defective wiring by Frank Merka. Dentists to Offer Essay Prizes in Bryan

Texas Dental Health Week runs April 18 with aims to teach children how to grow strong teeth. Mrs Mary Bush Dies at 59 in Burleson County

Mrs Mary Bush aged 59 died at the family home 13 miles west of Bryan Burleson County after a ten day illness. A native of Italy she is survived by her husband three sons and four daughters. Funeral held Wednesday at 11 am at St Anthony's Church with Rev Basil Bravi officiating and Catholic cemetery interment. Pallbearers included Tony Pete Poe James Scarmardo John Melazzo and Jasper Montebaum.

Bryan friends learn that Dr W B Cline and his wife with their baby will move to Tampico Mexico. He visited in February on a prospecting trip and decided to remain there and open offices. The family will return to Bryan for visits but plans permanent residence in January 1926.

Infant Abandoned at UT Newman Hall Steps

Police found a two month old infant wrapped in three blankets on the steps of Newman Hall, the Catholic dormitory for girls at the University of Texas in Austin. The baby, with a 103 degree fever, was taken to City Hospital in serious condition. No note identified the child. investigators seek clues.

R A Fenton contractor for Howell Lumber Company on East 24th street suffered a paralysis attack Sunday afternoon about 4 o clock while alone at home. He is now resting in Bryan hospital and is described as seriously if not dangerously ill. He had endured head pains for weeks but was not regarded as seriously sick. Recovery is hoped.
