City Council Shortens Switching Window. Water Extension Granted
The council cut the legal switching limit from 8:30 am to 8:00 am. W P Connelly sought a waterworks extension to the south end with the city paying one third of the two inch line, two thirds by citizens and the water company. Requests for Anderson street mains and a fire plug were postponed for funds. The cemetery land donation to the fire company was approved.
