Attorney General Davidson Responds in Railroad Injunction Suits
Austin Oct. 10 Attorney General Davidson completed his answer and exceptions to the petitions of the railroads in the injunction suits in the Twenty sixth district court over Love gross receipts bill. The state argues the petitions are insufficient and that the railroads threaten no wrongful act beyond enforcing state law. The railroad commission exempted the St Louis Brownsville and Mexico railway from an emergency order on dry goods and was not a party to the Chicago agreement.
