Sailor-turned-killer in San Diego spree ends in suicide
William P. Robinson, a house cleaner, killed four people and wounded another in San Diego on Monday before shooting himself. The dead include William Stewart, Mrs. Emma Stewart, H. W. Chase, and Harry Doddridge. W. P. Doddridge was injured while Mrs. Doddridge was wounded. Robinson had threatened Doddridge over a prior shanghaiing incident. Relatives lived in Riverton, Indiana.

Atlanta Opens Palatial New Passenger Depot
The Atlanta passenger terminal opened Monday costing 1.5 million dollars. The joint station serves Southern Railway, Atlanta and West Point Railway, and Central of Georgia Railway. The first arriving train was the Southern Railway United States Fast Mail from Washington and New York. A public inspection reception drew many of Atlanta’s prominent business and professional figures.

National Baptist Anniversaries Open in St Louis

Lightning Strikes Virginia Church Injuring Eight to Eighteen

Ex‑Wooster bank head guilty and jailed for draft fraud
L P Obliger former Wooster bank president pleaded guilty in U S district court to issuing a draft with insufficient funds. Judge Taylor sentenced him to eight years in the Ohio penitentiary. Obliger, a former congressman and official under Cleveland, held roles as county treasurer postmaster and tax collector.
