Mule Survives Being Dragged Mile by Rail Engine
A mule hitched to a light wagon was struck by a Western and Atlantic switch engine near Howells station in Atlanta. The mule and wagon were carried about a mile without injury as the engine halted at Simpson street crossing and the animals were lifted free from the cow-catcher.
