St Andrews Parish Plans New Church Edifice
Vestrymen of St. Andrews Parish advance a project to replace the 1874 church with a stone cruciform building costing about 25000 dollars. The interior will feature old English stained glass and a pipe organ, with capacity for 400 to 500 worshippers and a full front design. Eighteen thousand dollars has already been subscribed in ten days within the parish. Reverend J Wendel Davis plans to study English church interiors during his April trip abroad.
