Dynamite destroys Adams Zeigler store in Oakhurst
In Oakhurst San Jacinto county a drug and general store owned by Adams and Zeigler was dynamited and ruined. The nearby D H Jones store suffered heavy damage as the blast rattled the town and caused panic until investigators confirmed the drug store’s total loss.

Governor F B Lubbock’s will filed for probate lists a $50000 estate with executors J B Davis and W B Wortham. Homestead goes to wife Mary Louise Scott Lubbock, then to Sarah Elizabeth Davies. Bequests include 5000 to J B Davies and Mrs Barbara S Wise, 2000 to eight Lubbock relatives and a church and seminary. Executives receive 10 percent commissions. The will is dated September 9 1903. Also notes Texas Postmasters association meeting in Austin with address by W H Atwell and a Hyde Park banquet.
