El Reno Oklahoma July 29. A grand lottery determines Kiowa Comanche reservation settlers. About 165 865 registrants hold one in fifteen chance each for 13 000 claims. Drawings conducted by W A Richards D P Dyer and Frank Dale use two 15 foot wheels and envelopes shuffled by numbered slips. First 25 numbers drawn from one box followed by 25 from the other, with ten men drawing, and results announced as envelopes are opened. Only 1000 envelopes per district drawn today with last envelope expected Thursday night.

Drowning Tragedy On Spanway Lake Claims Seattle Trio
Earl Jenkins of Seattle Miss Florence Nevins and Miss Anelia Cole of Puget Sound were drowned when a rowboat capsized on Spanway Lake. Their bodies were recovered hours later. The incident was reported from Tacoma dated July 29.
