Brazos County to Issue $20,000 Road Bond Proposals
Attorney General T. B. Smith advised Judge A. G. Boards that Brazos county can issue $20,000 in road and bridge bonds. The bonds would carry 4 percent interest, be optional after ten years, and 4 cents of the 15 cent levy would fund interest and a sinking fund without raising taxes. If voters approve an extra 15 cent levy for 1900, repayment would be facilitated.
