Denver Rio Grande Train Plunges Through Bridge
A Denver and Rio Grande passenger train leaving Denver Friday night fell through a bridge near Nothrop eight miles from Buena Vista Colorado injuring fourteen passengers. The most seriously hurt include Mrs. Hopkins of Albion Ohio and Mrs Luther of Pittsburgh with severe facial injuries. The baggage car wrecked and the cars partly overturned while dining and two cars stayed on track. The dining car was converted to a hospital car and the injured were brought to Buena Vista. A second wreck near Schwanders on the Colorado and Southern reports the engineer and fireman seriously injured.
