Lynchings Reported in Georgia Two Men Hanged
Albany Ga Aug 14 Reports from Hartfield Colquitt County say a white man named Thompson and a Negro named Wrightman were lynched for assaulting a white woman near Hartfield Saturday night. A posse had captured Wrightman ten miles south of Albany and Thompson was reportedly at his home when seized. The two men were lynched together by a mob.
