A violent attack in Manchu territory wounded a general named Liang and killed another as an assailant threw bombs at a china military unit. One officer lost a leg to the blast and faces amputation, while another general escaped unharmed amid a tense standoff.
Police investigate a fire at the Waco News building after an incendiary device with inflammable material, coal oil and fuse failed to ignite. A candle allegedly lit but fell away from the device. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. on January 27 in Texas.
