Will Sheffield, a youth, was killed near Ashburn when a shotgun discharged accidentally while three boys rode in a buggy. The load struck his upper lip and passed through the head and neck, causing instant death as they traveled several miles from town.

Prominent Cobb County Farmer Ends Own Life
A W Reece a prosperous Cobb county farmer near Marietta died in a self inflicted shotgun suicide early today. He walked from his room to the veranda fired at his forehead blowing off the top of his head. He left no note and his wife awakened to the tragedy. Reece aged about forty five lived near Acworth with his wife and three children.

Street Car Jump Kills One in Chattanooga
A Chattanooga electric railroad car jumped the track while descending a steep grade, striking a trolley pole and breaking in two. An unidentified white man was instantly killed and James McFarland was seriously injured. The accident occurred in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on September 11.

Lover's quarrel ends in double shooting and suicide attempt
