Southern and A C L Switch B and B Cars Amicably Settled

Representatives from Atlantic Coast Line Southern and Plant System and Brunswick and Western Railway met to settle switching of B and B cars at Brunswick. An agreement to accede to B and B requests was reached and will be submitted to executive officials for final approval. The accord ends years of contention and aligns the three lines for smoother cooperation.

In Columbus Mississippi twelve funerals were held after a wreck in Ber Alabama. Many locals perished or were wounded as rear coaches filled before the train reached Columbus. Prominent Montgomery Woman Found Dead in Church Aisle

The body of Mrs. J Wilie Talley, longtime member of the First Christian Church, was found in the church aisle after being seen on the steps earlier. Believed to have died from heart disease, she had attended services that day to escape rain during a 30 year tenure with the congregation.

President M F Darby of the Southern railway machinists union says Washington talks yielded a 10 percent wage increase for machinists. The raise took effect September 1 and comes from Southern railway officials.

New Saw Mill for Brunswick Readies Expansion on B B Rail

The Wiggins Lumber company of Waynesville and Savannah applied for a charter to form a Brunswick enterprise. They plan a large saw mill at Wendig on the Brunswick and Birmingham railroad with a pine department to serve coastwise traffic. Output to be shipped from Brunswick, with track spurs arranged by General Manager MacDuffie.

City Orders Ten Car Loads of Augusta Gravel for Newcastle Streets

The city yesterday placed an order for ten car loads of Augusta gravel to lay on Newcastle Street from F to G streets and toward the park. Captain Newman, chairman of the streets committee, oversees the project and praises the improvement over oyster shells previously used. The gravel should arrive soon and will extend to Morgan's drug store, with plans to reach the park and improve street quality citywide.

The weekly crop summary notes warmer than normal temperatures aiding maturing crops in northern districts east of the Missouri valley while central and western gulf areas suffer heat waves. Teams to Play Again for a Large Purse in City

The clubs that met yesterday agreed to a rematch in this city within ten days for a $300 purse. Darien supporters hailed yesterday's victory and Brunswick fans quickly accepted the challenge. The exact date is still to be determined while officials and players finalize arrangements.

Superintendent Hensell and tug Inca showcased the system by lifting a schooner sized vessel with no issues. If lease for Dartmouth street foot is granted a boiler factory will rise, boosting the city's industry and prospects.

Evangelist George N MacDonnell Plans Medical Study
