J H Vincent founder of the Indigo Movement spoke at the Brunswick chautauqua on Newcastle street. The Redpath Bureau and King’s Daughters organized the event with Rev T B Epting delivering opening prayers. Vincent urged parental responsibility and narrated boyhood stages from ages two to sixteen, stressing the critical teen years and need for guidance.

Cumberland land will again receive a mail service with an island post office to reopen once a postmaster on the island qualifies. The first Cumberland office was discontinued previously. Senator Hoke Smith, urged by a Georgia citizen, prompted the reestablishment and notification from the assistant postmaster general confirms operation will start after qualifications and contract award. Jordan 18 suspended from game by league action

In Waycross on May 22 manager Otto Jordan of the Valdosta team received notice of an indefinite suspension pending an investigation into conduct in Brunswick yesterday. Jordan was ejected from the game and the league president was notified, with the suspension communicated this morning. An investigation was expected to proceed promptly.
