Brunswick Boy Recalls Salvation Army in Front Lines

Percy Cameron, a Private in Co B 16th Infantry First Division, recently returned from France after twenty months abroad. He described Salvation Army workers at St Mihiel trenches supplying doughnuts coffee pies and cigarettes and lending money to soldiers amid shelling and advance. Brunswick County Commissioners Rally Over County Bond Vote

The adjourned board meeting in Brunswick City yesterday at 11 30 o clock reported full returns showing 445 ballots with 399 in favor of the county bond. District tallies include 25th 266 for 25th district and notes of votes from Simons Island Fancy Bluff Sterling Bladen. The board expressed gratification at the excellent result and sent telegrams to Clark Howell and the state highway commission.

Superior Court Opens In Glynn County May Term

The Glynn County Superior Court prepares for its May term with 13 divorce cases set for decree and criminal matters on the docket. May 15 New Foundland The giant navy dirigible C-5 disappeared at sea after a heavy blow while awaiting orders for a trans Atlantic flight. Amverian destroyers swept the waters nearby hoping to overtake her before she becomes a total wreck. None of the crew were aboard at the time. Officers May Be Transferred To German Occupation Army
