Train Robbers Loot Queen and Crescent Express
Two masked bandits held up the Queen & Crescent New York Limited near Okahola Mississippi at dawn and blew open the express safe. They looted cash and valuables including payrolls and silver coin, with totals estimated between 50 000 and 150 000 dollars. They escaped on horses after marching the engineer and fireman at gunpoint. Police pursued with bloodhounds but tracked the trail briefly north of Okahola.
