A prominent Americus citizen told a News representative the peach crop escaped damage from the recent cold wave. Orchards including Bagley Bay Ware Progress Raymond Waddell Hansford and Broadfield report trees loaded with peaches. Sudden Death of Mrs Hetch Shocks Glynn County
Friends of Mrs Amanda Hetch learned of her sudden death shortly after 1 pm. She awoke healthy then fell ill and died within ten minutes from acute indigestion. Wife of the late Capt Jacob Hetch she lived in Glynn County most of her life. She leaves three daughters Mrs John Lamb Mrs G A Faber and Miss Minnie Hetch. Funeral this afternoon from the First Methodist Church conducted by Rev W H Budd.
