Mrs. Mary Anna Jackson Dies in Charlotte

Mrs. Mary Anna Jackson widow of General Thomas Jonathan Stonewall Jackson died at her home in Charlotte North Carolina early today after months of illness due to pneumonia. Her granddaughter Mrs. Randolph Preston and other relatives were at the bedside. Public buildings and businesses will close tomorrow for her funeral. The body will be buried in Lexington Virginia beside Stonewall Jackson. Born near Davidson North Carolina on July 21 1831 she attended Salem Academy and College and married in July.

Mystery of the Denver Rescue And Ship Movements

Wireless messages traced the rescue of the Denver crew after the steamer sank in the North Sea.
