Midville Georgia March 23 Shelby Wilson a negro desperado who escaped from the chain gang eleven years ago died yesterday from pneumonia contracted while hiding from officers. He had shot and killed Marshal Frank Morris last June when Morris attempted to arrest him. A reward was offered and several capture attempts failed. He was being carried in a wagon to his family when he died. His gun remained by his side to the end.
