Attachment of All Property in Glynn County Involving American Realty Co

A large attachment action was filed in Glynn County Superior Court. Deputy Sheriff Pyles spent three days attaching property across the county, on behalf of John Faitcom of New York against The American Realty Company, tied to a debt of about 10 000 dollars. The seized assets include 5060 acres of Day lands, Wind sor riparian plots, a number of city lots, and other parcels surrounding Crispea island and Blythe Island, with many known tracts listed. The case, represented by Rosser Brandon, heads to the May term for hearing. Negro woman.

Woman beaten in street assault near A Street Lane

Annie Dorsy, a resident of A Street Lane, was severely beaten last night by a Black man who fled police after the attack. She was knocked to the ground and kicked, with serious injuries reported and no suspect in custody.

The marriage of Alton T Girven and F B Toon was announced. The ceremony was held last Friday at Rev R A Brown’s residence on Williams Street in Waycross. Mrs Toon is sister to Mrs W B E Chandler. Girven, originally from Brunswick, has lived in Waycross since 1905 and works as a tinsmith for the Atlantic Coast Line. They will reside at 47 Brunel Street and the Herald offers congratulations.
