The Parker Hensen Engineer Company plant converts its boiler room into a full machine shop. A large crew is busy producing many parts with two carloads of Savannah machinery installed. The Evadua schooner will be hauled for overhaul and the Emme steamer recently turned out. Manager Hensell and staff are praised for energy and enterprise.

County Commissioners to discuss early election on road funds

The Glynn County commissioners of roads and revenues meet Tuesday at noon at the courthouse. They will consider a likely election to raise funds following a grand jury recommendation for 100000 to support county improvements.
