St Louis July 15 The state of Arkansas seeks seven and a half million dollars from Waters-Pierce Oil Co in a suit heard today alleging violation of the Arkansas anti trust act. The state also asks that the company be ousted from Arkansas.

Division of Brunswick circuit bill to be heard today

The bill to divide the Brunswick judicial circuit faces a judiciary committee hearing this morning. Brunswick attorneys were invited to appear, with broad support from the county bar but some objections to specific provisions. The plan would place Glynn, Wayne, Appling, Camden and Pierce in Brunswick and create a new circuit for Ware, Coffee, Jeff Davis, Clinch and Charlton.
