The New Lincoln Stamps Arrive Soon at Brunswick Postoffice

Stock of Jacob Bennett sold to bidder from Waycross

Trustee A H Cravatt sold the stock of goods and fixtures in Jacob Bennett’s Monk street store. Only a few bidders appeared and C W Parker of Waycross placed the winning bid of 675 dollars. Court confirmation likely after the trustee reports. It is unclear what Parker will do with the stock.

News reached the city last night of the death of J J Tomlinson on Cumberland Island yesterday afternoon. He had been in ill health for days, and his condition was serious with little hope for recovery. He leaves a wife and four children. The funeral will be held on Cumberland Island this afternoon.
