Foraker Attacks Roosevelt and Taft over Hidden War Funds

Senator Foraker charged in Washington that Roosevelt and Taft illicitly diverted five million dollar war funds ten years earlier to pay private detectives investigating the Brownsville incident. Brunswick Banks Elect Directors and Reelect Officers

The National Bank of Brunswick and Brunswick Bank & Trust Company held annual meetings. The National Bank kept its existing directors and rejected officers. Local firm lands landmark Panama pilings contract

The Améan Tie & Timber Company of this city, with New yesterday, won 4,000 pilings for Panama canal work. The Brunswick firm secured the contract after open competition, a distinction Brown quoted as a compliment to the local firm. The big shipment will be sent to Panama in several cargoes via Brunswick port.

Calhoun on Trial Over Railroads Bribe Proposal

Patrick Calhoun, president of United Railroads, faces trial in San Francisco for allegedly offering a bribe to ex Supervisor Nichollas to secure ordinance support for converting cable to a trolley system. Wife and Husband In a Death Fight

In Oxford Frank Donnelly killed his wife and wounded himself before going to Hamilton Ohio. Donnelly later told a Hamilton officer that his wife had sent for him and when he entered she tried to shoot him. he took the revolver and shot her and himself, then walked to Mercer hospital. His wife was found dead at their Oxford home by their son Paul.
