Thomas F Owens Dies After Long Life of Service

Thomas F Owens, known as a rural mail carrier for Brunswick many years, died after frail health. Born about 67 years ago in Connecticut, he retired two years ago to his home. Suicide attempt on Pine Street investigated by rabbi

A man named David Dobinson, 27, was found unconscious on Pine Street after ingesting poison. Landau the local rabbi called to intervene as police aided the man who had recently pawned belongings and claimed education in a Russian university. He refused to provide his address or relatives details and had no money in his pockets.
