Atlanta Youth Kidnapped In Broad Daylight

In Atlanta on August 23 seven year old Wootie Guillrida son of Dr. Frank Guillrida was grabbed from Rwlings street by four veiled women in a car. He was placed in the tonneau and the auto sped away as police and court officials investigate. The father suspects the kidnapper may be his former wife or someone seeking ransom.

President Wilson designated Harry M. Garfield head of Williams College as the coal administrator. Prices set today become effective September 1, with mine prices from four to five dollars per ton. Jobbers may add at most twenty cents per ton for deliveries east of Buffalo and thirty cents west of Buffalo.
