Fire discovered in the main hold of the Rio Grande of the Clyde line while at the A B A terminals taking on cargo. Smoke issued from a mid ship hatch and crews plus laborers controlled the blaze in about an hour with little loss covered by insurance. The ship is to sail to New York that afternoon.
