A Friday report details a collision on the A B and A tram road at Leicht between an engine and a handcar. Daniel Hayes was killed. Misses Addie and Ola Fouche and D T O Neal of this city were injured. two other negroes hurt with details unclear. The Fouche sisters, 13 and 15, were returning to Glynn Lumber mill with their cousin O Neal when the crash occurred. The engine damaged the handcar and a lantern set flames to Ola Fouche’s clothing. Both sisters were treated at the mill residence by Dr Ward. their father was en route from Tallulah Falls.
