Stephens Enters Race for Court of Appeals Judge
Atlanta August 18 Alex W Stephens nephew of Vice President Alexander H Stephens begins active campaign for one of three judgeships on the six state court of appeals created by recent legislation. A University of Georgia graduate with Harvard law training he has practiced twenty years in Georgia and led the field in previous appeals bids. He is first to announce and pay the entrance fee signaling firm intent to run.
