Aged Brunswicker Tomas Tolnas Dies After Fall

H O Tomnas a longtime Brunswick resident died at the city hospital after injuries from a wagon fall. He was 65 a native of Norway survived by two sons Triggive and Olaf and a difficult family history includes a fatal 18 year old accident and a bank shooting. Washington August 10 Senate leaders propose adjourning by September 1 at the latest with only shipping revenue employers' liability and supply bills plus conference reports to be considered. First Methodist Church Holds First Quarter Conference

The First Methodist Church held its first quarterly officers conference last night led by Rev. C A Jackson in place of delayed Rev I P Tyson. Plans were outlined to reorganize the Sunday school and prepare for the fall campaign with T E Glover named Sunday school superintendent replacing Capt W F Symong. J C Garwood was chosen secretary and treasurer for the upcoming year.
