The Glynn county exemption board continued work with 14 of 66 examined accepted, 19 discharged as physically unfit, and 33 passing to file exemptions. Over two days about 143 men were examined, with 29 passed without exemption. More names may be added as claims are reviewed, affecting total draftees.

Jordan Wheat Lambert, heir to the Lambert Pharmacal fortune and brother of aviator Albert Lambert, shot himself in his St Louis apartment after a career of sports, occult studies, and business success. He was 43, divorced, with a young child, and had ties to Brunswick decades earlier.
Frank H. Mallard of Mallard Forwarding Co. has been appointed head lumber inspector for the government at Spartanburg South Carolina for the cantonment project.
