Atlantic Raises Funds for Brunswick Share in Maritime Corp

A committee led by Major S. K. Brown and others was appointed Friday night to raise the remaining Brunswick share of 5650 in the South Atlantic Maritime Corporation. Half was subscribed at the meeting. solicitors reported near unanimous support and hope to complete subscriptions today. Subscriptions distribute stock pro rata to encourage broad ownership among local business leaders and merchants who will benefit from Latin American shipping.
